If it's your first time at The Bridge, we are honored to have you as our guest! We do church a little differently than other places, so here is some information that will help you feel at home from your first trip.
Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00am
WE MEET AT
Bridge View Center
102 Church Street
There is no dress code for attending services at The Bridge. Some attenders dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
When you arrive at The Bridge, you will enter in to The Bridge View Center’s main lobby. You’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our greeters. There will be some coffee for you to enjoy on us, and you can check your kids into our kids’ ministry, Bridge Kids. There will be a 5-minute countdown to let you know when service will start, so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!
If it is your first visit, we would love to meet you at our Next Steps area! At Next Steps, we can answer questions you might have and give you a gift to thank you for visiting.
BRING THEM. Bridge Kids is a place where your kids can be surrounded by adults who are committed to a safe, fun environment. It’s where kids can learn about Jesus on their level.
You can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating. We will not embarrass you, make you stand up, bug you for money, or ask you to do anything else you feel uncomfortable with. Come dressed as you are and prepare to hear the message of Jesus presented in a creative and relevant way.
We always start our services with powerful, high energy worship. Once worship is over, we will give some announcements and let you know about upcoming events. Then, we transition into the weekend message - which is always filled with biblical, practical teaching. If you want to get a taste of our teaching style, check out our current series! From start to finish, our services last an hour.
That’s not even a question! Listen, we believe worship is supposed to be loud, according to examples in the Bible (Psalm 50, Revelation 5:10-11). Also we believe we have something worth shouting about (Jesus is alive!). Finally, we like it that way; we love the energy and the passion that comes from a room full of people singing to Jesus.
We like that we don’t have to hear off-key people making a joyful noise, and we like that people can’t hear our tremendous singing as well. Our production team uses a decibel reader to ensure that the volume level doesn’t become dangerous, and we provide complimentary ear plugs at the entrance of the auditorium, should you wish to dampen some of the volume.
We hope so, but we also recognize that we are only one small part of the much larger Body of Christ throughout our community and beyond. If you find that The Bridge doesn’t feel like home, we would love to help you get connected to a church where you can plug in.
Not even close. Believe it or not, 92.8% of The Bridge experience you encounter results from a group of volunteers. Volunteers care for our kids, arrive early to set things up, and sing on stage. It’s a huge undertaking and we have an amazing team.
