What is prayer walking?

Prayer walking is praying in the places or around the people that we are specifically praying for. This can be as simple as praying while we walk through the streets of our neighborhood or the streets of our city. It is praying blessings for the people in the area, prayers for those in authority of those places, and praying for those that don’t know Jesus as their Savior to be saved.

As you walk, pray for...

Believers to be strengthened in their faith and to have perseverance. For them to be a part of what God is doing in their local church. (Ephesians 3:16-21, Hebrews 10:23-25)

For people who don’t know Jesus yet, to be open to His love and His offer of salvation through a relationship with Jesus. (Romans 10:1-4)

For opportunities to share the Good News with the lost. (Acts 1:8)

For freedom and protection against the enemy for our lives, our family and our community as we put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)
