What is prayer walking?

Prayer walking is praying in the places or around the people that we are specifically praying for. This can be as simple as praying while we walk through the streets of our neighborhood or the streets of our city. It is praying blessings for the people in the area, prayers for those in authority of those places, and praying for those that don’t know Jesus as their Savior to be saved.

As you walk, pray for...

For the next generation– that they will know God, know His Word and have confidence in their identity in Christ

(Psalm 139:15-16, Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

For Christians to adopt a biblical worldview (John 17:17)

For leaders to rise up in churches, schools, and businesses. (Daniel 2:21)

For opportunities and ideas for how to get to know the people you are praying for more, ways to serve them, invite them to church, and talk about faith in Jesus.  (Galatians 6:9-11)

For God to heal our land, rebuild our communities, repair our broken lives and broken families and restore our neighborhoods (2 Chronicles 7:14)
